Areas of Operation
We work on a localised basis in various areas of the country.
While fundraising in an area, we give an explanatory leaflet to all contributors and ask them to read it when they have a moment.
Every help request has resulted from someone reading one of our leaflets including the numerous referrals from support groups in those locations who learned of us by one of their officers meeting a fundraiser and reading a leaflet.
Wherever we raise funds and distribute our leaflets, the chances are that the needy people known to our supporters will live close by or have connections with them.
In the unlikely event that we received no help requests from an area in which we have raised funds, we would utilise those funds for other vital grants - the priority clearly has to be the support of those that desperately need help rather than sitting on funds awaiting responses.
